Are you passionate about making a difference in your community through education and skill development? The Canadian International Development Scholarships 2030 (BCDI 2030) program is opening doors for talented individuals from 26 eligible countries to pursue technical, vocational, and higher education in Canada.

What is BCDI 2030?
Funded by Global Affairs Canada, BCDI 2030 is an eight-year initiative (2022–2030) that aims to reduce global inequalities and drive social and economic development by supporting quality education. The program aligns with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals and is tailored to the specific needs of partner countries.

Opportunities Await
Through BCDI 2030, approximately 600 scholarships will be awarded to students from eligible partner countries. At least 51% of scholarships will go to women, emphasizing the program’s commitment to gender equity. Scholars will gain valuable knowledge, skills, and real-world experience in Canada, empowering them to become leaders and changemakers upon returning to their home countries.

Eligibility and Application Process
Please note that individuals cannot apply directly to the BCDI 2030 program. Instead, scholarships are awarded through partnerships between Canadian higher education institutions (HEIs) and HEIs in eligible countries. These partner institutions are responsible for selecting scholarship recipients based on program criteria and institutional guidelines.

If you’re interested in applying, you must do so through your local institution that is part of a BCDI 2030-approved project. Each project will have specific application details, deadlines, and contacts for more information.
