Job Summary

  • We are looking for a results-driven Business Development Manager to grow our Fintech business through strategic partnerships and market expansion.
  • You will identify new opportunities, build client relationships, and help shape go-to-market strategies. Ideal candidates have strong B2B sales experience, knowledge of the Fintech landscape, and a passion for innovation in financial services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales of payment gateway solutions to SMEs, large enterprises, and online merchants by identifying leads and closing high-value deals.
  • Identify, onboard, and manage new merchants across various industry verticals, ensuring a smooth integration of payment solutions.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for payment products, targetinge- commerce platforms, retail chains, and digital service providers.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs related to merchant acquisition, transaction volume, and revenue growth.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and merchant outreach programs to generate leads and enhance brand visibility.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure long-term partnerships and upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
  • Collaborate with product and technical teams to provide merchant feedback, enhance payment features, and ensure seamless onboarding.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to position our payment gateway competitively and refine sales tactics.

Key Qualifications
Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in degree in Social Science, Business, and Marketing

Experience:

  • 3-4 years of experience in Fintech, E-commerce, Retail, SaaS.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of consultative selling, pipeline management, and upselling/cross-selling.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and analytics tools.

Salary
N300,000 - N400,000 / month.
