Job Title: Receptionist
Location: Lagos
Job Summary
- As a Receptionist, you will be responsible for greeting visitors, managing phone calls, scheduling appointments, and handling basic administrative tasks to ensure a smooth and welcoming office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize various channels such as job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals to attract talent.
- Screen calls and take messages.
- Organize files for billing, customer and client records, etc.
- Inform employees of visitors before allowing them access to the office.
- Direct visitors to the correct office.
- Respond to all customer inquiries in a polite and timely manner.
- Effectively answer and direct phone calls to the correct department.
- Welcome and greet visitors in a warm and friendly manner, and answer any questions visitors have.
- Ensure the reception area and all common areas are clean and tidy at all times.
- Keep detailed and accurate records of visitors and of calls received.
- Receive deliveries; sort and distribute incoming mail.
- Maintain the general office filing system.
- Perform other administrative duties as required to support the mission and function of the company.
- Other duties assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, or any related field.
- Must have at least a year experience as a Receptionist.
- Ability to take initiative and work with little or no supervision
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be detail-oriented.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is an added advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
